On April 14, Zhou Yuxian, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China National Building Materials Group, and Zhang Yuzhuo, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Chairman of Sinopec, held talks in Beijing. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on strengthening cooperation and achieving coordinated development, focusing on new materials and key core equipment manufacturing. Opinions were exchanged on joint research and development and equity cooperation. It has successively won the first prize of national scientific and technological progress in five directions, including glass fiber, ultra-thin electronic glass and carbon fiber, and has realized the industrialization of achievements. He said that China National Building Materials Group is accelerating its transformation and upgrading, and will further strengthen its layout in the field of new materials in the future. It is recommended that the two parties carry out closer all-round cooperation around key materials and core equipment, and achieve complementary advantages through joint research and development and equity cooperation.
