On July 13, China National Building Materials Group and State Power Investment Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Zhou Yuxin, Secretary of the Party committee and chairman of the group, and Qian Zhimin, Secretary of the Party group and chairman of the board of directors of the state power investment, attended the ceremony and witnessed the signing of the contract. Chang Zhangli, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of the Group, and Liu Xiangmin, member of the State Power Investment Party Group and Deputy General Manager, signed on behalf of both parties. Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, President of China Building Materials Co., Ltd., Chairman of Kaisheng Technology Peng Shou attended the signing ceremony.

Before the signing ceremony, the two sides held a friendly discussion. Qian Zhimin welcomed the visit of Chairman Zhou Yuxian and his party, and introduced the basic situation of the reform and development of the state power investment and the operating results in the first half of 2020. He said that the State Power Investment Corporation is an advanced energy technology developer, a clean and low-carbon energy supplier, and an energy ecosystem integrator. It is committed to building a world-class clean energy company with global competitiveness. There is a broad space for cooperation in construction, smart energy, and equity investment. He hoped that the two sides would speed up the implementation of the strategic cooperation agreement and promote both sides to achieve greater achievements in the journey of high-quality development.

Zhou Yuxian expressed his gratitude to Chairman Qian Zhimin for his warm reception and congratulated the State Power Investment Corporation on its outstanding achievements in the first half of the year. He reviewed the good history of cooperation between China National Building Materials and the State Power Investment Corporation, and affirmed the efforts made by the teams of both parties in the promotion of the project. He hoped that the two sides would continue to practice the concept of strong alliance and win-win cooperation of central enterprises, strengthen cooperation in the fields of comprehensive smart energy, nuclear energy, electric energy services, R & D and innovation, and third-party project development, so as to help both sides take new steps in the new journey of serving the country's major strategic deployment and building a world-class enterprise with global competitiveness.

At the signing ceremony, the group's four companies, Kaisheng Technology, Zhonglian Cement, Beixin Building Materials and Sinoma Technology, signed four agreements with the State Power Investment Beijing Company, Smart Energy, China Power and Hydrogen Energy Company respectively.
