Starting from waste and environmental protection

The local glass production enterprises produce a large amount of quartz sand tailings and waste mud every year, which not only occupy the land, but also seriously pollute the local ecological environment.
However, Xu Zheng, chairman of Sinoma Yichang, said that it was the quartz sand tailings that people regarded as "waste" that the company chose to settle in Dangyang. On the one hand, it can help digest the local quartz sand tailings, realize energy saving, consumption reduction and recycling; on the other hand, it can promote the transformation and development of Dangyang building materials industry, upgrading and upgrading.
Xu Zheng told reporters that quartz sand tailings is actually a "misplaced resources". It contains the waste residue, tailings and tail mud after the screening of quartz mining, of which tailings account for the vast majority. The chemical composition of this quartz tailings is mainly silica, and the impurities are mainly feldspar, clay, mica, iron minerals, etc. As long as the rational development and scientific utilization, pollution can be eliminated, waste can be turned into treasure, and the scope of mineral application can be broadened. Improve the added value of minerals, and the development prospects are broad.

Sinoma Yichang is the use of quartz sand tailings produced by local glass enterprises, with wood pulp fiber, ordinary Portland cement, paste slag, lime and other raw materials, the use of a series of high-tech production of a "calcium silicate board" green energy-saving wall products, thus opening a "waste into treasure, low-carbon gold" green development road. At present, the company can eliminate 50000 tons of quartz sand tailings and produce 10 million square meters of high-end calcium silicate substrates and 1 million square meters of coated plates every year when it reaches full production. And next year, this set of data will double.

In 2019, the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau of Yichang City, Hubei Province awarded Zhongcai Yichang the title of "Outstanding Contribution Enterprise to Building Energy Conservation.
Calcium silicate board can not be separated from high temperature and high pressure steam curing, the production process needs to consume a lot of heat to maintain the normal temperature and pressure. After the plate comes out of the kettle, a large amount of residual steam will be generated, and the heat discharged from the condensed water and residual steam in the autoclave accounts for more than 40% of the total heat consumption. At the same time, noise pollution is generated when the residual steam of the autoclave is discharged, and the emission noise is as high as 125 decibels. In response to the national call for energy conservation and emission reduction and environmental protection noise emission requirements, Sinoma Yichang has improved the residual steam utilization system, recycling part of the residual heat resources and residual steam resources, which can achieve zero residual steam emission, not only eliminating the "white dragon" phenomenon in the production process, greatly reducing the impact of noise and peculiar smell on the surrounding environment, but also reducing the production energy consumption by nearly 1/3.

Focus on prefabricated buildings
Sinoma Yichang is a new material company owned by Sinoma Energy Conservation Co., Ltd., a listed company controlled by China Building Materials Group Co., Ltd., an enterprise directly under the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. It was incorporated in Dangyang City, Hubei Province in July 2015. It is controlled by Sinoma Energy Conservation (Wuhan) Co., Ltd, a business development platform for energy-saving new materials, and introduces a mixed-ownership enterprise with private capital and employee stock ownership. In August 2016, Sinoma Yichang officially launched the first phase of the project construction. In August 2017, the high-end calcium silicate substrate production line with an annual output of 5 million square meters and the coated board and thermal insulation decoration integrated board production line with an annual output of 1 million square meters were completed and put into production. In December 2018, the second high-end calcium silicate substrate production line with an annual output of 5 million square meters was put into operation. In July 2020, the company's 3rd and 4th high-end calcium silicate substrate production lines started construction and are expected to be completed and put into operation in May 2021. At that time, the company will have an annual production capacity of 2000 square meters of high-end calcium silicate substrates and 1 million square meters of coated boards and thermal insulation decorative integrated boards, ranking first in Central China.
"These calcium silicate board substrates have reached A1 (non-combustible) fire rating, and have the characteristics of thermal insulation, anti-corrosion and mothproof, waterproof and moisture-proof, sound insulation and sound absorption, light weight and high strength, etc. They are more energy-saving, environmentally friendly, earthquake-resistant and impact-resistant than traditional boards, and can be widely used in the fields of internal and external wall thermal insulation decoration, ceiling, billboards, cabin partitions, etc." Xu Zheng introduced that in recent years, with the continuous increase in the promotion of prefabricated buildings across the country, the market demand for calcium silicate boards has risen. Whether it is used for composite lightweight wall panels, or directly used for interior and exterior wall insulation decoration, ceiling, floor lining, calcium silicate board has become an important "role" in prefabricated housing construction ".

Soon after the first phase of Sinoma Yichang project was put into production, the products quickly opened up a market, and most of the customers were relatively stable bulk customers. These large customers are suppliers of assembly building demonstration projects, or manufacturers of light steel houses. Even if there are sporadic customers or distributors, most of their product sales terminals are "landing" in the assembly housing project. "After the first two production lines were put into production, our company rarely had inventory, so now we have to rush to expand the new line." Shao Changgao, general manager of Sinoma Yichang, said, "From the perspective of development momentum, the assembly construction market is in an upward channel. When the third and fourth lines are put into production next year, the company will have more voice and stronger market competitiveness in the field of calcium silicate board and assembly wall materials."

Innovation leads green development
Calcium silicate board development so far, has gone through two stages. The first stage is chrysotile asbestos calcium silicate board, which adds asbestos fibers to enhance the flexural resistance of the board, but asbestos has been clearly identified by the international medical community as a carcinogen, often contact can cause lung cancer, pleural and peritoneal mesothelioma and a variety of malignant tumors, and long-term latent and not easy to be found. The second stage is 100% non-asbestos ecological health board, the production equipment and technical process requirements are higher, the cost is naturally higher. Therefore, at present, there are only a handful of domestic enterprises with the ability to produce asbestos-free calcium silicate board, and some small enterprises take risks in order to reduce production costs and still use the old path of asbestos technology that is harmful to the human body.
Xu Zheng said that a responsible enterprise must be an enterprise whose "body" and products are equally healthy. The current era has entered the era of green and high-quality development, and enterprises must rely on the new concept of green and healthy development. Sinoma Yichang has always adhered to the asbestos-free product program from the design, construction to operation of the production line to ensure that it provides a healthy and safe working environment for employees in the production line, and provides consumers with green, environmentally friendly and safe products.
If the concept innovation points out the direction for the development of enterprises, then scientific and technological innovation and management innovation are the specific support to enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises and ensure the efficient operation of enterprises. Since its establishment, Sinoma Yichang has put scientific and technological innovation in the first important position, and has established close cooperative relations with Wuhan University of Technology, Wuhan University of Technology, Wuhan Building Materials Industry Design and Research Institute and other universities and scientific research institutes. The R & D investment of enterprises has increased year by year. Last year alone, the R & D cost was 4.6 million yuan, accounting for 4.53 of the operating income of that year. From January to October 2020, the cumulative investment in research and development expenses was 3.5052 million yuan, accounting for 5.27 of operating income. Up to now, the company has obtained 1 national invention patent and 8 utility model patents, and has been identified as a "high-tech enterprise". The company also cooperates with the National Thermal Insulation and Decoration Integrated Board Association, Hubei Wall Materials Industry Association, China Concrete Association Calcium Silicate Cement Board Branch and other industry organizations, actively participates in the preparation of relevant product standards, and researches and develops pallets, full-body boards, etc. The production process of new products, trying to use waste paper to replace some imported wood pulp, etc.
Respect the law of innovation and further promote management innovation. Sinoma Yichang actively carried out skills training for all employees and optimized positions. By strengthening management refinement, reducing costs and increasing efficiency, the single-line output increased by 5% over the same period last year, and the capacity utilization rate reached 82%. Not long ago, at the 2020 China Concrete Exhibition and the China Concrete and Cement Products Industry Conference, Sinoma Yichang was awarded the "2019 National Top Ten Calcium Silicate/Fiber Cement Board Enterprises".
