In June 1923, the third Congress of the Communist Party of China was the only national Congress of great historical significance held in Guangzhou so far, which had a great impact on the Chinese revolution. The Congress formulated the policy of the revolutionary united front, thus opening a new page in the history of the Chinese revolution.
