From May 18 to 19, the 2021 (17th) International Green Building and Building Energy Efficiency Conference and New Technologies and Products Expo was held in Chengdu. Ma Mingliang, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman and President of Sinoma Energy Conservation Co., Ltd., was invited to attend the academic event and gave a keynote speech on "Application of Calcium Silicate Board in Green Buildings.

Ma Mingliang said in his speech that calcium silicate board has been applied for hundreds of years in foreign countries and has entered the Chinese market for more than 30 years. However, it was not until recent years that with the rapid development of prefabricated buildings and the public's higher requirements for the environmental protection performance of decoration materials, it was widely used in the construction field. Not only the raw materials are green and pollution-free, but also the whole production process is zero pollution and zero emission, which truly achieves green production. Its raw materials do not contain asbestos, formaldehyde and other harmful substances, the material itself is a non-combustible material, moisture-proof and insect-proof, easy to cut and nail, can be widely used in various types of building interior and exterior wall decoration and building fire protection requirements of the site. In the future, with the rapid development of prefabricated buildings, carbon peaks and carbon neutrality have higher requirements for building energy conservation. Calcium silicate board and its series of products will gradually replace high energy consumption materials such as ceramic tiles and aluminum plates and resource materials such as wood and stone in the industrialization of building decoration and greening of building materials by virtue of its advantages such as moisture-proof and fire-proof, green environmental protection, convenient construction, easy disassembly and reuse, create a new situation of all-round application of calcium silicate board in green building.
