On July 8, Xie Zhongyan, secretary of the Baishan Municipal CPC Committee in Jilin Province, visited China Building Materials Group. Cao Jianglin, deputy secretary of the party committee and general manager of the group, met with Xie Zhongyan and his party. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on strengthening strategic cooperation and promoting the construction of industrial projects. Wei Rushan, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and deputy general manager of the group, and Wang Xuefeng, deputy secretary of the Baishan Municipal Party Committee, attended the symposium.

Cao Jianglin welcomed Xie Zhongyan's visit to China National Building Materials Group. He introduced the development of the main business sectors of China National Building Materials Group, as well as its outstanding advantages in terms of benefit priority, complete structure, and leading technology. He said that Baishan City is rich in resources, has a deep industrial foundation, and has clear industrial development. China Building Materials Group and Baishan City have good cooperation in the fields of cement, new materials, and mining. In the future, it is hoped that the two parties will quickly promote the development and utilization of diatomite resources and the construction of new glass materials industrial parks to achieve win-win cooperation and common development.
Xie Zhongyan expressed his gratitude to Cao Jianglin for his warm reception and appreciated the achievements made by China National Building Materials Group. He said that Baishan City will go all out to accelerate the cooperation between the two parties in the fields of cement, diatomite, and new glass materials. The municipal party committee and municipal government will set up a special industrial group to accelerate the integration of resources, promote the construction of R & D centers and industrial parks, and formulate industries. Development and resource utilization plans, introduce the necessary supporting policies and measures, fully support the success of bilateral cooperation projects as soon as possible, and create a model for central-local cooperation.
