On January 4, Zhou Yuxian, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Building Materials Group, met with Wu Zhenglong, Secretary of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, and Xu Kunlin, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Acting Governor, at the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee Building. He introduced the development of the main business of China National Building Materials Group, especially the latest progress in the field of new materials. He said that China National Building Materials Group has a large layout of assets and income in Jiangsu, making positive contributions to local taxation and employment. At present, China National Building Materials Group is implementing or promoting a number of major investment projects in Jiangsu Province in the fields of carbon fiber, lithium battery separator, special fiber, and new glass materials, and actively improving the extension of the industrial chain supply chain. Signing of strategic agreements

After the meeting, Vice Governor Wei Rushan and Vice Governor Hu Guangjie signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Jiangsu Provincial Government on behalf of China National Building Materials Group. The two sides will give full play to their respective advantages and deepen cooperation around basic building materials, new materials, comprehensive utilization of resources, ecological environment management, inspection, testing and certification.

Prior to the meeting, Zhou Yuxian held talks with Han Liming, member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee. The two sides conducted detailed exchanges on China National Building Materials Group's important projects in Nanjing, scientific research and innovation, development planning, and deepening cooperation.

On the day of the meeting, Zhou Yuxian investigated the composite material industry center of the national new material testing and evaluation platform of Nanjing Glass Fiber Research Institute and the nuclear power protection material creation laboratory, and then attended the symposium of China Building Materials Group in Nanjing. The main leaders of 8 enterprises in Nanjing, including Nanjing Light Machinery Packaging Machinery Co., Ltd., Nanjing Glass Fiber Research and Design Institute, Sinoma International (Nanjing), East China Materials Co., Ltd. (to be established), Nanjing Kaisheng International, Jiangsu Corps of Geological Exploration Center, Nanjing Guomai Testing Co., Ltd. and Nanjing Mine Engineering Co., Ltd., reported on their business development and future plans. Zhou Yuxian congratulated and thanked the Nanjing enterprises for their achievements in 2021.
