In order to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of traditional building materials and promote the high-quality development of the prefabricated building materials industry, recently, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology and the Sichuan Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development jointly hosted the "Sichuan Province Prefabricated Building Industrialization Parts Industry High-quality Development Site Promotion Activity". More than 700 people from government departments, scientific research institutions, design institutes, industry associations and upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain participated in the event.

At the meeting, the unveiling ceremony of the Sichuan Prefabricated Construction Industry Alliance and the Sichuan Steel Structure Prefabricated Housing Industry Alliance was held. Well-known experts and scholars were invited to give theme reports and policy presentations, and the Sichuan construction industry was officially released. In the development quality index system, relevant regions, departments, and key enterprises exchanged experiences. The participants visited the latest products displayed by the backbone enterprises of prefabricated building materials and prefabricated decoration, which further enhanced the experience and understanding of prefabricated building materials products.
In recent years, Sichuan Province has conscientiously implemented the central deployment requirements, adhered to the concept of green development, incorporated prefabricated building materials into the "5 1" modern industrial system advanced material pillar industry for key cultivation, issued a series of supporting policies and measures, and continuously optimized the industrial layout. In the next step, Sichuan Province will continue to increase the training of professional talents, improve the technical content of products, enhance the ability of product design, guide the development of industrialized parts and components through the upstream and strengthen the application and promotion of the downstream, so as to realize the integrated development of the whole industry chain. Through 3-5 years of efforts, we will strive to form a prefabricated building materials and supporting industry with perfect system, excellent quality, environmental protection and safety, green and efficient, and effective integration of "two modernizations", cultivate more than 10 leading enterprises, and create a prefabricated building materials industry with a scale of more than 100 billion yuan.
