From June 9th to 10th, Zhou Yuxian, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Building Materials Group, went to Suijiang County, Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province to investigate rural revitalization work, on-site inspection of the group's assistance projects, visit the group's temporary cadres, and hold a symposium on assistance work. Guo Sheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Zhaotong Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor, Su Shipan, Secretary of the Suijiang County Party Committee, and Wang Qiren, Deputy Secretary of the Suijiang County Party Committee and County Mayor, participated in the survey.
At the symposium on rural revitalization and assistance work, Zhou Yuxian listened to the report on the economic and social development of Suijiang County and the work of fixed-point assistance. Zhou Yuxian congratulated Suijiang County on its remarkable achievements in rural revitalization. In the next step, China Building Materials Group will continue to fulfill the political and social responsibilities of central enterprises, deepen the work of fixed-point assistance, focus on industrial revitalization and talent revitalization, enhance the economic "hematopoietic" function of Suijiang County, improve the ability of sustainable development, give full play to the role and strength of China Building Materials Group, and cooperate with Zhaotong City to draw a new picture of rural beauty, industrial prosperity and people's wealth. At the meeting, Zhou Yuxian, on behalf of China Building Materials Group, donated 57 million yuan to Zhaotong City for 2023 assistance projects.
Guo Sheng expressed his heartfelt thanks to China Building Materials Group for its great assistance in the rural revitalization work of Suijiang County, Zhaoyang District and Yongshan County, and highly appreciated the excellent style and working ability of the group's temporary assistance cadres. Zhou Yuxian went deep into the rural front line to investigate the designated assistance projects, focusing on the Luoping Village relocation and Luoping Primary School education assistance projects.
In Luoping Village, Zhou Yuxian visited the masses of Huang Bang scholars. When they learned that they moved into their new house in 2017, planted 100 mu of bamboo shoots and opened a small supermarket with the help of China Building Materials, their life changed greatly. Their daughter went to university with the help of "good learning" scholarship, and their son was employed in a big city with the help of the group's temporary cadres. Zhou Yuxian was very happy and hoped that they would be grateful for the good policies of the party and the government and make their life more prosperous.
In Luoping Primary School, Zhou Yuxian went into the classroom and restaurant to learn about the children's learning and living conditions. In the "Good Learning" bookstore, he learned in detail about the collection of books and the borrowing of students. He watched the "Colorful Classroom", "Good Learning" geological summer camp results report and "Good Learning Cup" painting exhibition. Zhou Yuxian attended the donation ceremony of the "Good Learning Plan" in Luoping Primary School, sending desks and chairs to Miao students and adding new books to the Good Learning Bookstore. Zhou Yuxian wishes the children to grow up healthily and happily, become pillars and build a beautiful hometown.
