Under the guidance of Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought, it summarized the group's energy conservation and ecological environment protection work in 2020 and the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, deeply understood and analyzed the situation of ecological and environmental protection work, planned the "14th Five-Year Plan" work, and deployed the group's energy conservation and ecological environment protection work in 2021. Zhou Yuxian, Secretary of the Party committee and chairman of the board of directors of China Building Materials Group, gave important instructions to the meeting. Cao Jianglin, member of the Standing Committee of the Party committee, director and general manager of the group, attended the meeting and made an important speech. At the meeting, Wang Yameng first made a work report entitled "Compacting the main responsibility, strengthening green leadership and promoting the group's ecological and environmental protection work to a new level", and reviewed the group's energy conservation and ecological environment since 2020 and the 13th Five-Year Plan. The phased progress made in protection, this paper objectively summarizes the work progress made by the group in five aspects: consolidating the foundation of ecological and environmental protection management, resolutely fighting the battle of pollution prevention and control, preventing hidden dangers of ecological and environmental protection risks, cultivating new momentum of green development and exploring carbon-related management activities, and lists the more effective work performance of some member enterprises in the above-mentioned fields.

The meeting further analyzed the ecological and environmental protection situation and existing deficiencies faced by the group, and arranged and deployed the key work of energy conservation and ecological environment protection in 2021. He emphasized that since the "13th Five-Year Plan", the group's comprehensive energy consumption, nitrogen oxide emissions, and sulfur dioxide emissions have decreased by 25%, 35%, and 57% respectively, and the decline far exceeds the national "13th Five-Year Plan". The emission reduction target of the plan is worthy of recognition. However, it is also soberly aware that there are still some problems to be solved in the ecological environmental protection work. It is necessary to fully understand and deeply grasp the new requirements put forward by the "three new", and to further study and implement Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought and the major decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on ecological environment protection, comprehensively strengthen the group's ecological environment protection work. In the next step, we must focus on four aspects: First, we must further raise awareness, change concepts, firmly establish new development concepts, scientifically plan the "14th Five-Year Plan" ecological and environmental protection goals, tasks and important measures, and earnestly grasp the rectification of central environmental protection inspections.
