On April 13, Zhou Yuxian, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Building Materials Group, met with the visiting Vice Governor of Sichuan Province Li Gang and his party at the group headquarters. The two sides held discussions and exchanges on deepening industrial cooperation and actively and steadily carrying out mixed ownership reform. Zhou Yuxian welcomed Li Gang and his party, thanked the Sichuan provincial government for its strong support to China Building Materials Group, and briefly introduced the development and future planning of the group's production and operation, basic building materials, new materials and engineering and technical services. He reviewed the course of China Building Materials Group's exploration of mixed ownership, and introduced the contents of the congratulatory letter sent by Comrade Xi Jinping, then secretary of the Shanghai Municipal CPC Committee, at the establishment of Southern Cement, as well as the group's experience and practice in promoting mixed ownership reform. He said that China National Building Materials Group and Sichuan Province have maintained a good cooperative relationship for a long time, and he hopes that the two sides will further consolidate the foundation of cooperation, expand cooperation areas, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
Li Gang expressed his heartfelt thanks to China National Building Materials Group for its long-term concern and support for Sichuan's economic and social development. He said that in recent years, a number of projects such as the Southwest Headquarters of China Building Materials Group, China Jushi Chengdu Glass Fiber Production Base, Shuyang Waterproof Material Base, and Ya'an Cadmium Telluride Thin Film Power Generation Glass Production Line have successively landed, and the cooperation between the two parties has continued to deepen. It is hoped that China Construction Group will further increase its investment in Sichuan, actively participate in the development strategy of "one branch, multiple branches, five districts coordination" and "four-way expansion and global opening" in Sichuan Province, so as to help Sichuan's global economic development and social construction.
