The assembled ceiling system introduces some new materials on the basis of the traditional ceiling, and pays more attention to the integration of house decoration and the combination of functionality and decoration. Compared with the wall and the ground, the area of the ceiling in the home decoration is not high, generally mainly used in the living room, bathroom and kitchen.

Integrated ceiling is not a brand-new product, which has been developed in China for nearly 15 years. The development of the domestic ceiling industry can be roughly divided into three stages. The first stage is from the 1990 s to 2005. Gypsum board and PVC are one of the most common materials. Functional modules such as lighting and heating are installed separately from the ceiling. The second stage is from 2005 to 2015. Integrated ceiling gradually emerged. Many integrated ceiling enterprises also poured into the market at this time, advocating the integration of ceiling substrate and functional electrical appliances. The materials have also been improved, and the application scope has gradually expanded from bathroom and kitchen to living room and bedroom. The third stage is from 2015 to now, the pursuit of decoration quality is "top wall integration" has gained more and more attention, and more new materials have also begun to be used in home decoration ceiling.

In terms of materials, the traditional ceiling is mainly gypsum board/mineral wool board and aluminum gusset board. The former is mostly used in bedrooms or living rooms, while the latter is mostly used in kitchens and bathrooms. The difference in performance mainly lies in whether it is moisture-proof and easy to clean and disassemble. PVC ceiling can be moisture-proof and insect-proof, light material and low price, but the decoration texture is poor, and the service life is short, and the application degree in the field of home improvement is lower than that of gypsum board and aluminum gusset board. The gradual rise of integrated ceiling and assembly makes the soft film ceiling, calcium silicate board and other new materials also began to be used for home decoration ceiling, its advantage is beautiful effect, can be quickly disassembled, but the price is higher than the traditional gypsum board.

What is the difference between the assembled ceiling and the traditional ceiling? Unlike the wall system, the assembled ceiling system does not completely abandon the traditional materials, gypsum board, aluminum gusset plate and other traditional materials are still used in the assembly decoration, because its own wet work is relatively small. However, the assembly ceiling has made further innovation on the basis of the traditional ceiling, which we think is mainly reflected in two aspects:
1) Improvement of construction technology: improve efficiency by improving the installation system, reduce installation difficulty, and reduce wet work as much as possible;
2) the introduction of new materials: in line with the development concept of green environmental protection, pay attention to the integration of ceiling and house decoration style, enhance the beauty and richness.
