The fourth is to implement rural construction actions, continuously improve the level of green buildings in rural houses, and improve the quality of rural human settlements.

Qi Ji, president of the China Construction Industry Association, pointed out at the first Green Smart Building Expo that under the guidance of the new development concept, the construction industry is constantly exploring new development paths and accelerating the transformation and upgrading of the industry through the industrialization, intelligence and greening of new buildings. "This expo will showcase the innovative development of Chinese construction in the new era in all directions and from multiple angles."

Qi Ji further stated that the construction industry is a pillar industry of my country's national economy. In 2020, the total output value of the construction industry will reach 26.4 trillion billion yuan, and the completed added value will account for 7.18 percent of the GDP.
