The first batch of summary and the second batch of deployment meeting on the theme of learning and implementing Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics was held in Beijing on September 5. Cai Qi, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and leader of the central education leading group for studying and implementing Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. He emphasized that under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee, the first batch of thematic education has achieved remarkable results in casting souls through learning, increasing wisdom through learning, upright style through learning, and promoting work through learning. It is necessary to conscientiously study, understand and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions, implement the second batch of thematic education guidance, and scientifically plan and carefully organize the second batch of thematic education in a highly responsible spirit.

Cai Qi pointed out that in the first batch of thematic education, all regions, departments and units firmly grasped the general requirements of "learning ideas, strengthening party spirit, emphasizing practice, and building new achievements", highlighting the main theme, and promoting various key measures as a whole. Cai Qi stressed: the effective practices and successful experiences of the first batch of thematic education play an important guiding role in carrying out the second batch of thematic education, and all localities, departments and units should adhere to and make good use of it in the light of reality. It is necessary to fully implement the deployment of the Party Central Committee and carefully organize the second batch of thematic education. We should pay attention to the requirements of the target, pay attention to strengthening the classification guidance, pay attention to solving practical problems, pay attention to the connection and linkage, and pay attention to preventing formalism and bureaucracy.
