On the afternoon of May 13, Zhou Yuxian, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Building Materials Group, gave a special lecture entitled "Being the Vanguard and Main Force of Reform and Development in the New Era" for the participants of the 11th Middle-aged and Young Cadre Training Course. Sun Lishi, deputy secretary of the party committee of the group, and others listened to the lecture.

Zhou Yuxian first explained the past, present and future of China Building Materials Group from what we are, where the source of our sustainable development comes from, what is our mission, and what is our gene. As the world's largest building materials manufacturer, the world's leading new materials developer and integrated service provider, China Building Materials has a history of more than 70 years. Over the years, China National Building Materials has always been a self-reliant innovator, a leader who has come from behind, a climber with rising profitability, and a reformer who has the courage to explore and never stop. Strong scientific research strength is the driving force of the group's sustainable development. The gene of "innovative performance and harmonious responsibility" is deeply rooted in the hearts of Chinese building materials, which inspires Chinese building materials people to continuously achieve the corporate mission of "materials create a better world.

In the lecture, Zhou Yuxian mainly talked about three aspects: carrying out the three-year reform of state-owned enterprises, accelerating the establishment of the "three closed-loop systems", and young and middle-aged cadres to be the vanguard and main force of reform and development. From the strategic requirements of the party and the state for state-owned enterprises, the mission of state-owned enterprises, and the objective requirements of the group to achieve leapfrogging, this paper analyzes the importance and necessity of the three-year action of state-owned enterprise reform, reviews the progress and effectiveness of the three-year action of the group reform, and puts forward some thoughts and suggestions. Emphasize the implementation of the three-year action requirements for the reform of state-owned enterprises, deepen the reform in terms of mechanism, fully stimulate and release the vitality of "people", and speed up the establishment of the "three closed-loop systems" of the group ". At the same time, taking the construction of the closed-loop system of human resource management of the group headquarters as an example, the "trilogy" thinking mode of establishing the closed-loop system is introduced, that is, problem orientation, basis and principle, ideas and suggestions. Zhou Yuxian finally emphasized that young and middle-aged cadres are the precious wealth and backbone of the group's reform and development. It is necessary to learn and implement General Secretary Jinping's requirements for young and middle-aged cadres, shoulder the mission, strengthen confidence, and improve political positions at a new historical starting point. Exercise professional skills, actively integrate into the overall situation, set great ambitions, become great virtues, become great talents, assume great responsibilities, and be the vanguard and main force of reform and development, for the group to accelerate the construction of world-class materials industry investment company to make new contributions.

After the lecture, Zhou Yuxian interacted with the students. Everyone said that this lecture was encouraged and benefited a lot. It enhanced the sense of pride, responsibility and mission as a member of China Building Materials. They also learned the methodology of starting a business and doing things. They will bring what they have learned back to their work, train the abilities and attitudes that the world's top 500 enterprises should have, and play the role of the main force and vanguard for the group to build a world-class enterprise.

Nearly 100 students from all departments and offices of the group headquarters and relevant personnel of enterprises in Beijing participated in the training.
