The third session of the 13th CPPCC National Committee should have 2151 members present, of which 2057 are in line with the prescribed number.

Wang Yang pointed out that 2020 is the year when a well-off society will be built in an all-round way and the 13th Five-Year Plan will end. Zheng Jianbang, vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, on behalf of the standing Committee of the 13th CPPCC National Committee, reported to the Congress on the work of proposals since the second session of the 13th CPPCC National Committee. Members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, participating units of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and special committees submitted 5488 proposals for the second meeting. After review, 4089 cases were filed and handed over to 175 contractors for processing. All of them have been completed on time. The Standing Committee continues to promote the improvement of the quality of proposal work, strengthen the construction of the work system, and play the role of a special consultative body through consultation on proposal handling, so as to promote the development of the CPPCC proposal work in the new era and the improvement in consolidation.
